32 Let the Messiah,[a] the king of Israel, come down from the cross now, since seeing is believing!” Even the men who were crucified with him kept insulting him.

33 At noon,[b] darkness came over the whole land[c] until three in the afternoon.[d] 34 At three o’clock,[e] Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, eloi,[f] lema sabachthani?”[g] (which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”)[h]
